Frankie Fahey
Project Manager
Frankie Fahey, Red Seal Pipefitter, with over 18 years’ experience in the Oil Fields in Alberta, acting as Superintendent and Foreman on many job sites.
Since meeting his wife Jennifer, and having two boys, Elliott and Jack; Frankie’s main goal was to move home closer to family, and to create his own career.
Since moving back to Cape Breton, Frankie started at Safety Check, where he is the Project Manager. He brings his wealth of management and industry experience with him, and has gained lots of market share.
Frankie now manages a team of 10 Confined Space Techs and High Angle Rescue Techs who conduct work all over the province.
In 2018 Frankie joined the New Victoria Volunteer Fire Department as a volunteer fire fighter
Chris Angione
Training Manger
42 year old man, with a Bachelor of Business Information Systems Degree, and a Bachelor of Education Degree. Father of 2 children (Elise and Blake), and husband of Kelly Angione (Pharmacist in Glace Bay).
Chris is a qualified teacher in the province of Nova Scotia, and also has 4 years experience in the oil sands industry in Alberta. He has owned his own business – Party Tent Rentals for over 10 years. 12 years of teaching in the Cape Breton Victoria School Board.
Since joining Safety Check in 2015, Chris has become certified to teach OSSA courses from ISafety, First Aid through Red Cross, and Traffic Control through the Department of Transportation. Chris has joined the New Victoria Volunteer Fire Department. Chris has been certified through SPRAT and IRATA for High Angle Rescue.
Jennifer Fahey
Office Manager
36 year old female, with her Bachelor of Hospitality Tourism Management Degree, and over 20 years work experience in Hotel Management, and 6 years at Safety Check. Mother of two boys (Elliott & Jack) and wife of Frankie Fahey (Project/Operations Manager at Safety Check).
Jenn is the voice at Safety Check, answering the phones and emails, and often see her making presentations and doing sales calls to spread the word about we offer here at Safety Check.
Jenn attended Cape Breton University from 2000-2004 before starting her career in New Brunswick as a Hotel Manager, where she excelled and stayed for 10 years. After moving home in 2013, Jenn started work for Safety Check, as a bookkeeper and quickly excelled to managing the office and sales and marketing.
