Use and Care of Multi-Gas Monitors

Part 12 of the Occupational Safety General Regulations states: "(8) An employer shall designate a competent person who shall perform the assessment required in clause (3)(a), which shall include

(a) where the level of a chemical substance or a mixture of chemical substances may constitute a hazard, tests to ensure that the concentration of a chemical substance or a mixture of chemical substances in the confined space does not exceed its occupational exposure limit under the Occupational Health Regulations or 50% of its lower explosive limit;"

A multigas monitor is required to respond to these requirements.

Our course will teach you about the different types of monitors and atmopsheric hazards, how to handle monitors in the correct manner, how to perform a function test and safely analysis the atmophere you are encountering.
